Die schlussendliche Entscheidung hatte, so Mr Keong Benjamin, Professor Wolfram Schommers getroffen. Der wiederum war nicht zufrieden, dass ich auch nur in Erwagung zog, zu diesem Paper zu berichten. Er musse sich halt auf die Entscheidung des House-Editors (nicht zu erfahren, wer das denn nun war) und der Reviewer verlassen. Die einzige Form, auf G/T zu antworten, ware per peer-ter Antwort in IJMPB. Gut gebrullt, Lowe. Der gleiche Peer-Review, der nicht nur dieses Paper als solches unbeanstandet hat durchgehen lassen.
Nicht zu verwechseln ist dieses Journal auch mit dem ebenfalls renommierten "Review of Modern Physics", in dem zukunftige Nobelpreistrager gerne ihr Werk ausbreiten durfen.Ich finde Gehrlichs Auftreten und seine Spruche einfach unmoglich. Genau dieses Gehabe stort mich so sehr an der Klimadebatte. Dann sind kleine Pfeile in Graphiken und ahnliches Zeug plotzlich echte wissenschaftliche Widerlegungen. Ich hatte eigentlich gehofft, die englischen "rebuttals" bald jetzt hier auch auf Deutsch vorzufinden.
